Roblox Build is reaching creators who have never used Studio
Roblox says 71% of Build creators had never used Studio. The deeper connection between the two tools is still developing.

THE TAKEAWAY
The useful first milestone is a game someone else can try. A generated starting point still needs a reason to keep playing.
What Happened
Roblox introduced Build as a way to make a basic game from prompts in its mobile app. Its public alpha began in New Zealand, with a September expansion to Serbia and Singapore.
At its September 11 developer conference, Roblox reported roughly 9,000 published Build games and said 71% of people who had created one were new to Studio. The figures cover data through September 1. They describe participation, not how good those games are.
What Is Still Coming
The newer announcement describes early progress toward connecting Build and Studio, rather than a finished seamless handoff. Roblox also puts Scene Generator later in the year. Creators should distinguish those plans from the controls available in their account today.
Why It Matters
For a newcomer, reaching a playable version means they can ask a better question than whether an idea sounds fun: does another person enjoy doing it? A small prototype makes that test possible before the project grows around an unproven mechanic.
Keep the First Test Small
Build one action and let a friend try it without instructions. Watch where they hesitate or stop. Change that part before adding another environment or system. The feedback is more useful while the game is still easy to change.
