Cinema 4D gives your AI assistant a way to help inside the 3D scene
Maxon’s new connection turns conversational requests into operations artists can inspect, adjust and undo.

THE TAKEAWAY
An artist can ask for help organizing or modifying a 3D scene, then continue working on the result inside Cinema 4D.
WHAT HAPPENED
Cinema 4D is Maxon’s software for creating and animating 3D objects and scenes, used for work such as motion graphics, product imagery and visual effects.
Its new built-in MCP connection gives compatible assistants access to the application’s tools. Instead of explaining which menus to click, an assistant can carry out supported tasks in the open scene.
WHY IT MATTERS
Scenes become complicated quickly. Hundreds of objects, materials and settings can sit between an artist and the change they actually want to make.
Maxon keeps the results as editable Cinema 4D data. Artists can inspect, refine or undo the work, and choose which tools the assistant may access.
WHAT AN ASSISTANT CAN HELP WITH
Organization
Sort imported objects into a useful scene hierarchy.
Variations
Create alternatives for objects and materials.
Preparation
Help with render setup and other repetitive production tasks.
The artist can continue working on the result inside Cinema 4D.
VEYR ANGLE
For someone working alone, help with scene maintenance could make experimentation less cumbersome. The connection is available in Cinema 4D 2026.4 and must be enabled by the user.
