What Happened
Varkos is a desktop-pet alpha for Mac and Windows. The character runs AI locally and can converse with the user, react to images, behave autonomously, remember interactions, develop its personality over time and participate in two included mini-games.
Why It Matters
This is AI used as the entertainment system itself, not just as a production tool. The intelligence, memory and behavior are part of the actual player experience, making it a strong example of AI-native game design.
