Takaya Imamura uses an AI prototype to try ideas back and forth
The veteran Nintendo artist compared his experiment to the conversations he once had with programmers.

A prototype can give an idea enough shape to decide whether it deserves another round of work.
What Happened
Takaya Imamura shared images of an AI-assisted 3D shooter experiment on September 12. In the Japanese post reproduced by Men’s Journal, he described repeated exchanges with AI as recalling the way he used to develop ideas with a programmer.
He presented the work as a prototype experiment.
Why It Matters
For a designer exploring a mechanic, a small test can make the next conversation more precise. What works when you try it, and what needs changing? Imamura describes using that back-and-forth to work through an early idea.
