What Happened
ElevenLabs announced its Stan Lee Universe partnership on May 27. The program includes an AI voice made from professional recordings and a book club in ElevenReader, beginning with Treasure Island.
Its announcement describes likeness templates for personal, noncommercial use. Commercial likeness projects go through Stan Lee Universe via ElevenLabs. The voice also has a licensing-request route in the Iconic Marketplace.
Why It Matters
A cameo that works in a personal experiment may need separate approval before it belongs in a paid campaign. For a small team, checking that distinction early could avoid building an edit around a performance it cannot use.
