Agora-2 shows world models moving beyond generated scenes toward shared, persistent systems where people and AI agents act inside the same evolving simulation.
What Happened
Odyssey released Agora-2 on September 21. The company says it supports up to 20 humans and agents, 5x the participants of Agora-1, and trains a shared-state simulation from Diablo II captures so each participant's actions influence the same generated environment.
Why It Matters
This moves world-model research closer to multiplayer game systems. It is not just an AI visual demo: multiple people and agents share consequences inside the same learned simulation, which is a meaningful new entertainment primitive.
VEYR Angle
A world model is starting to behave like a multiplayer game engine.
