Izkimar is building the kind of multiplayer game that normally takes a substantial development team. Working with AI-powered game creation platform Spawn, the creator has already released a playable 3D MOBA and continues adding features based on how the game plays.
WHAT HAPPENED
In League of Spawn, players choose fantasy heroes, aim their abilities in third person and fight across multiplayer battlegrounds.
The latest addition, Dragonscrest, introduces a new way to win. Players collect dragon souls and deliver them to an altar. Gather enough, and a Dragon Knight rises to march against the enemy's base.
It's a wonderfully recognizable MOBA mechanic, complete with an impressive fantasy setting, magical attacks and the kind of team objectives that give players something to fight over.
Izkimar is creating the game on Spawn, where the AI partner Savi helps creators build environments, characters, mechanics and multiplayer systems through conversation. Spawn currently uses Claude Opus 5.5 by default.
WHY IT MATTERS
A working multiplayer game is a much more interesting result than an isolated AI-generated environment.
League of Spawn already has thousands of recorded plays, and Izkimar is making meaningful changes to the game after release. The work involves building and refining an experience people can actually play together.
For individual creators, that points toward an exciting possibility: developing ambitious game ideas without needing to assemble a traditional production team before the first playable version exists.
VEYR ANGLE
What makes League of Spawn worth watching is the combination of ambition and follow-through. Izkimar isn't simply showing what AI can generate. The creator is building a game, finding out how it plays and continuing to shape it.
Dragonscrest is the latest evidence that the project is growing into something more substantial.
INSIDE THE GAME
Third-person combat
Players control fantasy heroes and aim their spells and abilities directly.
Multiplayer battles
A 5v5 MOBA structure brings teams together to fight for map objectives.
Dragonscrest
Collect dragon souls to summon a Dragon Knight capable of pushing toward the enemy core.
An evolving game
New maps, hero adjustments, matchmaking improvements and gameplay fixes continue arriving after launch.
The interesting achievement isn't just building a fantasy world. It's making a game people can enter, play and help improve.
