What Happened
The Next Web reports that Emulate, founded by former DeepMind researchers Jack Parker-Holder, Matthew McGill and Philip Ball, is in talks to raise up to $700 million. Its account cites Financial Times and Bloomberg reporting and says terms could change.
The founders’ earlier work includes DeepMind’s Genie models, which generate interactive environments.
