Curious Refuge gets better alternate angles by cutting the source first
Its Seedance 2.5 test found that generating one short shot gave the editor more control than asking for coverage of a whole scene.

Choose the missing shot before generating it. Give the model only the few seconds of action that need a new angle.
What the Team Tried
Curious Refuge compared automatic coverage, timecoded prompts and manually isolated clips. In its cooking test, automatic coverage changed ingredients; timecodes still allowed an orange to become a pepper.
The team then cut three-to-five-second moments in Premiere Pro, generated a chosen angle and returned the best result to the edit. It reports needing two or three iterations for some shots.
Why It Matters
For an editor missing an insert, this makes the experiment smaller: repair one moment and compare it with the shots around it. Check props, eyelines and action before keeping the result. A convincing new angle is little use if it breaks the scene.
