CapCut adds a way to revise part of a generated shot

What Happened
CapCut says Dreamina Seedance 2.5 can generate up to 30 seconds of video and accept up to 50 references, including images, video, audio and text. Its more useful promise for revisions is the ability to change a specific timestamp, character or element.
The accompanying Dola Seedream 5.0 Pro image model adds controls such as circling an area or separating elements into movable layers. These are CapCut’s descriptions of the tools; VEYR has not tested how faithfully a revision preserves the original.
Why It Matters
If a shot has the right performance but one wrong detail, starting again means risking the parts that worked. A targeted edit gives a small team a narrower job: fix the problem and check that the rest survived.
Try One Small Correction
Keep the original. Change one visible detail, then compare the moments before and after it. Watch the character, lighting and camera movement as well as the requested fix. A successful correction should not create another round of repairs.

The announcement describes different subscriber rollouts for the two models. Check your region and account before building a delivery plan around either one.
