Autodesk’s AU demo kept the camera separate from the performance
Flow Studio’s 3D Editor and Canvas demonstration preserved scene elements that artists could revise individually.

If the performance works but the camera does not, changing the camera should not mean losing the performance.
What Happened
Autodesk’s September 15 account of its AU 2026 demonstration used the fictional Robots of the Wild West project to show Flow Studio’s 3D Editor and Canvas. It combined filmed performance, a generated character and a World Labs environment.
Autodesk says the camera, performance, character, environment and animation remained separately controllable. It also describes generated character assets as starting points rather than final production characters.
Why It Matters
A small team needs to carry approved decisions into the next revision. Keeping scene elements separate gives an artist a more specific job: repair the camera move while retaining the acting.
Try One Change
Use a scene you know and adjust only the camera. Check the performance and timing afterward. Autodesk’s demonstration explains the intended control; it does not establish how reliably every imported scene will behave.
