A lost button has to cross a sleeping giant to find its way homeView original post on X ↗
The Sleeping Giant turns an entire landscape into one enormous sleeping character. You're a little button that fell off his shirt, and the only way home is to travel across his body without disturbing his dreams.
WHAT HAPPENED
The hills rise and fall with every breath. His moustache is made of bushes. Somewhere near his knee, a windmill creaks in the breeze.
And you're a tiny blue button, trying to get back to an empty buttonhole.
The Sleeping Giant is a playable browser world from Pokeable creator @0xRhinoX, who supplied a detailed creative and technical brief to an AI model identified on the site as Gemini Carbon 4.
The adventure sends players searching for three notes of a lullaby. Ring a chime, listen to frogs and wait for the windmill to catch a snore before making the final climb home.
The published build uses Three.js and browser-generated visual and audio assets. Pokeable reports a generation cost of approximately $22 and a build time of 73 minutes.
WHY IT MATTERS
The charming part isn't just the character design. The sleeping giant's breathing, sounds and reactions are connected to the player's journey.
This is AI-assisted game creation being used to construct a small, coherent playable idea rather than another impressive environment with nothing to do.
VEYR ANGLE
The best AI-generated games still begin with a wonderful human idea.
A lost button trying not to wake the world it's walking on is a pretty wonderful place to start.
Focused takeaway

A tiny button searching for its way home.
Explore
A giant whose sleeping body forms the environment.
Interact
Wind chimes, frogs, snores and a three-note lullaby.
