New creator-process reporting published Sep. 16 says Dorian & Daniel began THE WELL in early ComfyUI and, as the multi-year project evolved, adopted Kling 3.0 and Nano Banana. The finished 5:29 short had to preserve a consistent visual language across changing generations of AI tooling; the directors describe AI as part of a broader filmmaking/VFX craft rather than a replacement for direction.
